Senior Business Systems Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Engineer to join our team at Right People in Aberdeen. This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Systems Analysis and Configuration: Diagnose and resolve complex Business Systems issues, providing solutions that align with associated controls and procedures.
  • ERP Solution Development and Maintenance: Maintain key Business Systems by defining and applying relevant configuration, importing/exporting data, and delivering reports.
  • ERP Upgrade and Implementation: Contribute to the delivery of an ongoing ERP upgrade via configuration, testing, and user training.
  • Process Documentation and Issue Tracking: Produce and maintain process documentation and track issues to a high standard.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Business Systems Analysis and Configuration: Experience in Business Systems analysis and configuration, with a strong understanding of associated controls and procedures.
  • ERP Solution Development and Maintenance: Proven experience in analysis, design, configuration, and maintenance of ERP solutions.
  • Leadership and Technical Expertise: Point of seniority and escalation within the Business System team, with strong technical expertise and leadership skills.
  • Problem-Solving and Improvement: Ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement technical solutions.
  • Documentation and Communication: Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to document and maintain technical details of Business Systems and ERP.
  • Support and Collaboration: Provide 2nd and 3rd line Business Systems and ERP support, and contribute to month-end processing and task automation.
