About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service Adviser to join our team at North Devon Homes. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their queries are dealt with in a positive, professional, and helpful manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, responding to queries via phone, in person, or email
  • Resolve issues or effectively signpost customers to specialist teams and partner agencies
  • Provide informed guidance on a variety of NDH services, including repairs, rent enquiries, anti-social behaviour queries, and other housing-related matters
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, providing advice and practical solutions to their queries
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills and excellent telephone manner
  • High level of diplomacy skills to enable effective negotiations with internal and external groups
  • Ability to work as part of a team, contributing positively to team goals
  • Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
