About the Position

As the Customer Engagement Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in devising, implementing, and assessing integrated marketing initiatives tailored for key clients in the UK and Ireland.

Collaborating closely with local Sales teams and distributor partners, you will execute Collaborative Business Strategies through both digital and traditional marketing efforts that enhance sales performance and strengthen brand loyalty for Tork.

Reporting directly to the Customer Marketing Manager for the UK and Ireland, your primary workplace will be our Dunstable office, although our flexible working policy allows for remote work two days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive customer marketing strategies, incorporating both online and offline components, for select strategic clients, including promotional initiatives, communication schedules, and product launch assistance.
  • Enhance Tork's brand presence with distributors by ensuring visibility at trade exhibitions and events in partnership with the Segment and Sales teams.
  • Facilitate the introduction of product innovations and Segment/Brand campaigns in alignment with business unit objectives.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the essential elements of Tork's brand equity and advocate for these within the sales and distribution teams.
  • Establish Tork's digital presence on distributor platforms, leveraging content management and sharing capabilities through our Tork dealer interface; consistently evaluate, analyze, and enhance content accuracy and integrity in collaboration with distributors.
  • Assist in budget oversight and campaign performance analysis.
  • Oversee local marketing agencies to ensure the creation of tailored content.
  • In collaboration with Sales, provide insights to optimize the product assortment for clients, ensuring a solid marketing return on investment and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Actively contribute to the Region South-West/MEIA Marketing team to reinforce our unique omnichannel strategy by sharing content, best practices, and insights across the region to support local teams.
  • Responsible for coordinating and delivering training on Products, Segments, Brands, and Services, as well as customer loyalty initiatives.

Who You Are

If you are enthusiastic about executing strategic marketing initiatives in partnership with commercial teams and are motivated by product innovation across various B2B sectors, this role may be ideal for you. Success in this position requires a proactive and open-minded attitude, coupled with a strong sense of urgency. You will be a self-motivated individual eager to implement local strategies while ensuring comprehensive execution.

You should have a strong customer-centric focus, ideally gained from a B2B marketing background, or possess significant B2C experience. Experience in working with distributors in specific market sectors is advantageous but not mandatory. A degree-level qualification and proven experience in a global matrix organization are preferred.

You will be a confident and persuasive communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across all organizational levels. Extensive travel within the UK and ROI is required to foster customer relationships, with occasional travel within Europe.
