Job Summary

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Team Lead to join our client's FMCG manufacturing company in Leicester. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process with minimal disruptions.

About the Role

  • Manage a team of 2 planners to ensure the efficient execution of production plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate production plans, taking into account customer orders and inventory levels.
  • Monitor progress against production plans and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings to discuss supply chain-related topics.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a supply chain or logistics role, with a focus on team management.
  • Proven track record of improving process efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience with Sage 200 and Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
