About the Role

Migrant Help is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outreach Adviser to join our team. As a key member of our Asylum Services, you will provide critical support to vulnerable asylum seekers across the UK, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to navigate the complex asylum process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to asylum seekers on Asylum Support and Move on Services
  • Signpost clients to specialized support services as needed
  • Manage a caseload, offering timely and effective support to clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, completing follow-ups within required timeframes
  • Ensure compliance with Home Office standards and quality standards
  • Provide training and support to clients, as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary and multicultural environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
