Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons
  • Provide general support to students, including one-on-one assistance
  • Manage student behavior effectively
  • Supervise students during breaks and meal times
  • Ensure a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Prepare learning materials (printing, photocopying)
  • Offer emotional support to students with SEN

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a teaching assistant in UK schools
  • Familiarity with safeguarding policies and practices
  • Understanding of special educational needs, including learning and behavioral challenges
  • Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
  • Proactive and resourceful
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Possesses a good sense of humor
