Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Bristol. The successful candidate will work closely with a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop and implement individualized learning plans for the child.
  • Provide one-to-one support to the child, helping them to access the curriculum and overcome any challenges they may face.
  • Assist with the child's daily routine, including breaks and mealtimes.
  • Communicate effectively with the child's parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to their care and education.
  • Contribute to the development of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of patience and understanding.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
