Our client is a leading global branded Food and Beverage manufacturer with instantly recognisable brands in multiple categories. Their brands are currently experiencing significant Year-over-Year growth, and their Category, Marketing, and Sales departments are being heavily invested in. Category Marketing plays a central role in their success, particularly in the relationships they have with the top grocery multiples.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Category Manager to join our team on a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract basis. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, working with some of the UK's most loved brands. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Range Reviews and Category Performance Reviews
  • Building strong customer relationships, aiming for advisor status
  • Developing objective-based sales recommendations, ensuring alignment with Range Review objectives and Category Vision growth opportunities
  • Identifying consumer needs as a source of inspiration, with proven sales and marketing experience and a track record of achievement

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven category management experience working within a branded Food and Beverage environment
  • A forward-thinking, flexible attitude
  • The drive and resilience to succeed, with the ability to work independently
