Job Title: General Manager

A highly skilled General Manager is required to lead our Commercial and Operational support team in London. The successful candidate will have a strong business acumen, with a focus on delivering exceptional performance and developing a high-performance sales team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented General Manager to oversee the branch activity in London. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, with a strong ability to handle pressures and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and develop the London team to optimise team performance.
  • Develop and execute ambitious strategic plans to ensure growth in profitable revenues and market share in the London region.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Fire Safety and Health & Safety regulations and best practices in property management and security.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance and operational efficiency with P&L accountability for the London Region.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director to deliver sales growth for the London region and support the London sales team in achieving both Property Management and Security sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including property owners, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Achieve Branch objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching and counselling.
  • Meet Branch sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Dual experience in a Commercial and Operational role would be beneficial.
  • Proven track record of leadership with positive results.
  • Ability to handle pressures and meet deadlines.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Collaborative team-player with ability to work independently.
  • Strong character, dynamic, determined, resilient, tenacious.
  • Positive, confident, enthusiastic and energetic personality.
  • Strong communicator, negotiator, persuader and influencer.
  • Well organised and a keen eye for detail.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary ranging from £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus bonus.
