About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Lead to join our team at Mountain Healthcare, leading our Paediatric Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC) services. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and support to our clinicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric medicine, with experience in sexual health, paediatrics, or a related field. You will be a registered medical practitioner with the General Medical Council (GMC) and have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in an acute medical setting. A strong understanding of the principles of forensic medicine and experience in working with vulnerable populations is essential.

This is a part-time position, working 24 hours per week, with a rota basis covering 24/7, 365 days per year. You will be based at The Hazlehurst Centre SARC in West Yorkshire, with opportunities for training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

As a Medical Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical guidance and support to our clinicians
  • Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
  • Leading clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with our research team to develop and implement research projects
  • Representing Mountain Healthcare at national and local level, promoting our services and expertise

We offer a competitive salary of £90,000 (Full Time Equivalent) and a range of benefits, including enhanced sickness pay, enhanced maternity pay, and a well-being programme.
