This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in paediatric sexual offence medicine.

Main Responsibilities

As a Clinical Advisor, you will work closely with our team to provide up-to-date, evidence-based clinical advice and support to our clinicians.

You will undergo shadowing and training in paediatric SARC and receive support in photo-documentation and report-writing for clinical cases seen.

We will identify an individualised programme of education and exposure to clinical environments, providing opportunities for examinations and financial support to further your training.

As part of this role, you will work across various clinical rotas, including Paediatric SARC, and be required to travel for training days, with hotel and subsistence reimbursement provided.

Police vetting requires 3 years' residence in the UK.

Person Specification
  • Completed medical school
  • GMC registered
Experience
  • 3+ years' post-qualification in an acute medical setting
  • Basic Life Support and experience working in an acute environment
  • Medical Indemnity by start date
  • 1 year experience in Paediatric Sexual Offence Medicine
  • Vetting requires 3 years in the UK
  • Experience working as a Core trainee
  • Experience in A&E or acute medicine
  • Experience in sexual health, paediatrics, GP, or psychiatry
  • Experience in research and/or audit
