About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Lead to join our team at Mountain Healthcare, leading our Paediatric Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services in West Yorkshire.

This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement a framework for training and developing clinicians in Paediatric SARC, providing up-to-date, evidence-based clinical advice and support.

As a Medical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical rotas, including Paediatric SARC in West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire, and will be expected to participate in research, audit, teaching, and sitting FFLM exams.

Travel for training days will be required, and hotel and subsistence will be reimbursed in line with our Expenses Policy.

Please note that we cannot support International Visas, and police vetting requires 3 years' residence in the UK.

Essential Skills
  • Membership of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine (MFFLM) or 3 years' experience, Diploma Legal Medicine and working towards MFFLM in sexual offence medicine
  • GMC registered
  • 3+ years' post-qualification in an acute medical setting.
  • Basic Life Support and experience working in an acute environment
  • Medical Indemnity by start date
  • 1 year experience in Paediatric Sexual Offence Medicine
  • Vetting requires 3 years in the UK
  • Experience working as a Core trainee
  • Experience in A&E or acute medicine
  • Experience in sexual health, paediatrics, GP, or psychiatry
  • Experience in research and/or audit
