We are collaborating with a reputable and expanding Social Housing Contractor that specializes in decarbonization and energy efficiency initiatives, recognized as a leader in their domain.


In response to a surge in projects, there is a need to bring on board a skilled Community Engagement Officer for a permanent role.


This position involves overseeing a project that includes Cavity & Loft Insulation, Air Source Heat Pumps, Window replacements, and External Wall Insulation installations.


As a Community Engagement Officer, your primary responsibility will be to foster positive interactions with residents, ensuring they receive pertinent information and support throughout the project phases.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-entry visits and facilitate company orientations
  • Gather tenancy agreement and approval documentation
  • Meet with tenants in their residences to inform them about the schedule and nature of the work
  • Serve as the primary contact for tenants, addressing any issues or inquiries
  • Liaise with neighborhood housing associations to build collaborative relationships
  • Visit vacant properties undergoing refurbishment with prospective tenants, providing updates on completion timelines
  • Organize and lead tenant forum meetings to communicate ongoing works
  • Track customer complaints and proactively resolve potential concerns
  • Assess customer satisfaction levels


To be considered for this role, candidates should ideally possess experience in the social housing sector, particularly in a position that involves daily interactions with residents.

A valid driving license and personal transportation are essential, along with a CSCS card.

The compensation package includes a salary of up to £28,000 plus a £3,000 car allowance.
