About the Role
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Arbury Court. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance tasks to identify and address any faults or defects.
- Liaise with contractors and manage the upkeep of the service, ensuring all necessary work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Participate in a 1-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance and respond to any urgent issues that may arise.
- Coordinate and support contractors on site, ensuring all necessary paperwork and tool checks are completed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a maintenance role, with a strong understanding of DIY skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and contractors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Compliance with all relevant systems and procedures, ensuring a high level of quality and safety in all aspects of the role.
