Design Engineer/Draughtsperson Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Design Engineer/Draughtsperson to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our global engineering team, you will be responsible for developing tooling designs from concept through to detailed design, manufacture, assembly, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform 3D and 2D design activities in support of tooling development and commercialization.
  • Support Inspection, Repair, Maintenance, and Decommissioning services across the energy industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance tooling designs.
  • Work on a range of energy infrastructure projects, including offshore windfarms and oil and gas operations.
  • Travel locally, nationally, and internationally to attend offices and work sites as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong skills in 3D and 2D design software, including Solidworks and Inventor.
  • Experience in subsea tooling, ROV's, and well abandonment.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role, with a mix of office and remote work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
