Job Title: Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer to provide engineering design solutions and through-life engineering support to our commercial and defence product ranges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide design input to new products and provide engineering support to existing product ranges.
- Assess technical queries and provide solutions.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure the best technical solutions.
- Sourcing materials and components, creating specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, test procedures, certifications, and reports.
- Check detailed manufacturing drawings and be responsible as the technical approver of drawings and documentation generated within the electrical, electronic, and embedded software products team.
Requirements:
- Electrical/electronic engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven electrical/electronic design skills.
- Extensive experience of circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded software.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems and designing for EMC compliance.
- Good knowledge of PCB design software and electrical design software.
- Skilled in generating design calculations.
- Knowledge of design standards and industry guidelines.
