Job Title: B1 Licensed Engineer

MPI Limited is seeking a highly skilled B1 Licensed Engineer to join our team in Holyhead, Isle of Anglesey. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out and certifying routine and non-routine maintenance, including defect rectification within the line and base maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out and certify maintenance within CAA & MAA Regularity requirements
  • Update maintenance records within the company's maintenance information software
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of engineering staff (Technicians)
  • Support Affinity operations as required
  • Promote, endorse, and comply with the company's Quality and Health & Safety procedures
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a UK CAA Part 145 environment
  • Experience of supervising staff
  • Experience of working and certifying maintenance within Line and Base maintenance
  • Experience of working closely with multi-site teams, building relationships and leveraging them to deliver outstanding performance in a highly regulated environment
Essential Qualifications:
  • UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence
  • Ability to acquire UK security clearance
  • Full UK driving licence
Competencies:
  • Detailed knowledge of UK CAA Part 145 regulations with working practices and acceptable means of compliance within an Aircraft Maintenance Environment
  • Detailed knowledge of Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS)
  • Understanding of UK CAA Part CAMO regulations
  • Understanding of UK CAA CAP 562 Leaflet B-40 CAA Oversight of Military Registered Aircraft (COMRA) – Policy and Principles
  • Understanding of MAA regulations
