Job Title: B1 Licensed Engineer

MPI Limited is seeking a highly skilled B1 Licensed Engineer to join our team in Holyhead, Isle of Anglesey. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out and certify routine and non-routine maintenance, including defect rectification, within the line and base maintenance environment.
  • Update maintenance records within our maintenance information software.
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of engineering staff, providing guidance when necessary.
  • Support Affinity operations as required.
  • Promote, endorse, and comply with the company's Quality and Health & Safety procedures.
Essential Experience:
  • Experience of working in a UK CAA Part 145 environment.
  • Experience of supervising staff.
  • Experience of working and certifying maintenance within Line and Base maintenance.
  • Experience of working closely with multi-site teams, building relationships and leveraging them to deliver outstanding performance in a highly regulated environment.
Essential Qualifications:
  • UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence.
  • Ability to acquire UK security clearance.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Essential Competencies:
  • Detailed knowledge of UK CAA Part 145 regulations, working practices, and acceptable means of compliance within an Aircraft Maintenance Environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Understanding of UK CAA Part CAMO regulations.
  • Understanding of UK CAA CAP 562 Leaflet B-40 CAA Oversight of Military Registered Aircraft (COMRA) – Policy and Principles.
  • Understanding of MAA regulations.
  • Ability to work well in all types of weather conditions.
  • Fluent, both written and verbal, in English.
