The enthusiastic response to our designs led to the launch of Wear London as an independent brand in 2020. We specialize in high-quality apparel crafted from Italian fabrics, produced in London, in limited quantities at accessible prices. Our collections are designed to cater to the daily needs of professionals, allowing for a smooth transition from work attire to evening wear, balancing elegance and style.

Customers can explore our offerings online or in our various locations across London. We are excited to expand with a new standalone store in Brighton.

Role Summary

As we prepare to unveil our new store in Brighton, we are in search of an experienced, stylish, and dynamic Retail Operations Leader with a robust background in retail management. This full-time position is crucial for delivering outstanding customer service and overseeing the daily functions of our new location.

In this role, you will represent our brand, converting casual visitors into loyal customers and driving sales. You will manage daily operations, uphold high standards of visual merchandising, and, most importantly, foster customer relationships to promote repeat business both in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance a new retail location while serving as a brand ambassador for Wear London.
  • Achieve key performance indicators and ensure seamless processes to provide exceptional customer service, meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Assist customers by offering product insights and recommendations, leveraging a strong understanding of the brand.
  • Maintain store presentation and ensure the shop floor is well-stocked.
  • Manage and organize stock levels accurately.
  • Process transactions with precision and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a superior customer experience and smooth store operations.
  • Oversee weekly stock deliveries.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A proven background in retail, preferably in menswear fashion (minimum of 2 years).
  • Experience in sales management with oversight of one or more direct reports (minimum of 1 year).
  • Essential experience in people management.
