Job Summary: IDEX Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Solicitor to join our team in Manchester. As a leading law firm, we are recognized for our expertise in Business Crime and Regulatory law.

About the Role: We are looking for a Regulatory Solicitor with experience in Environmental law, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Inquests, and Product Liability/recall. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contentious and non-contentious regulatory work, including the defense of serious workplace incident criminal cases and alleged environmental offenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend clients in serious workplace incident criminal cases and alleged environmental offenses
  • Represent clients at inquests and inquiries
  • Provide advisory work on areas such as food law, product regulation, and advertising/marketing
  • Work closely with the Business Crime and Regulatory team to deliver high-quality results

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong knowledge of Environmental law, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Inquests, and Product Liability/recall
  • Experience in Private Practice or In House welcome
