Regulatory Solicitor NQ+

This international firm are seeking a Regulatory Solicitor with experience in representing companies subject to investigations and prosecutions relating to Health & Safety, food safety, fire safety and Environmental crime but also candidates without this experience who wish to pursue a career in SHE Regulatory crime as full training will be provided.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded Partner, handling complex cases.

Overview

  • Job Title : Regulatory Solicitor
  • Location : Manchester
  • Salary : Up to £55,000 (DOE)
  • Experience Level : NQ+ (Newly Qualified or more)

Newly Qualified Solicitors (NQs) with a passion for regulatory work will be considered. If you have experience in HSE or motor crime cases, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with a lead Partner in the regulatory team
  • Reviewing and analysing prosecution evidence
  • Critically analysing and summarising client evidence
  • Liaising with key bodies like the Coroner's Office, CQC, HSE, Police, and other regulators
  • Attending interviews under caution and conferences with Counsel
  • Assisting in trials and inquests

Ideal candidate profile

  • Previous HSE or motor crime legal experience
  • Demonstrated interest in regulatory law
  • Completed at least one training contract seat in regulatory work (for NQs)
  • Strong critical analysis and client communication skills
