About the Role

Telford and Wrekin CVS is a charity dedicated to delivering professional services to our community. We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable individual to join our team as a Carers Resilience Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • To identify unmet need, set priorities, and contribute to the local carers strategy.
  • To support carers in a person-centred way to remain safe within the community.
  • To supervise the staff team and oversee the supervision of volunteers.
  • To maintain records which provide statistical information for monitoring and evaluating the service.
  • To develop and progress delivery to meet the needs of Carers- Adult and Children.
  • To provide regular team reports on the work of the service for CVS Senior Management team and external funders.
  • To participate in budget setting, financial control, and management in line with CVS financial requirements.
  • To network with local, regional, and national agencies to develop collaborative working practice and links.
  • To maintain the Carers Centre Service website, Facebook, and Social Media platforms of communication.
Requirements
  • A solid general education is required, including GCSE A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
  • Good keyboard skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience of working in a small team in a busy office environment would be an advantage.
Working Arrangements

Normal office hours are Monday to Friday 9. Out of Hours work and a flexible working pattern will be necessary. Time off in lieu can be arranged (overtime is not paid).

Telford and Wrekin CVS is entitled to ask exempted questions under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 Exemptions Order 1975 and will require an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service before any appointment can be confirmed.
