About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Nurse Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. As a key member of our oncology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the overall management of the unit, ensuring seamless delivery of care to patients.
  • Facilitate education and support for qualified and unqualified staff, promoting excellence in nursing practice.
  • Work independently, taking ownership of professional actions and decisions.
  • Deputise and support the ward Sister as needed.

  • A High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,314 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata.

Requirements
  • RN1 qualification.
  • In possession of Oncology or Haematology Care modules.
  • SACT accredited course or competencies.
