We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a GP Receptionist. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care and support to patients face-to-face and over the phone
- Manage appointments, result handling, and general enquiries in a fast-paced environment
- Process repeat prescription requests and liaise with other healthcare providers
- Scan clinical correspondence and perform general administration tasks
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to prioritize workload and meet the demands of a busy reception area
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Good IT skills and experience with clinical systems and document management software
- Experience working in a General Practice or NHS Community setting is preferred, but not essential

Working Hours:
Hours are on a fixed rotational pattern between 8am and 6pm, with no out-of-hours commitments.
