Location: Primary School in Lambeth

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reception Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Lambeth. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide a nurturing and engaging environment for our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons to Reception pupils
  • Assist with classroom activities, including preparing materials and resources
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide individual support to pupils as needed, including those with special educational needs
  • Contribute to the development of a love of learning in every child

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young children in a primary school setting
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
