TPF Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent firm of chartered accountants seeking a Personal Tax Consultant to enhance their skilled team.

This position is primarily full-time, although part-time applicants are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including sole proprietors, partnerships, and company directors, tailored to your expertise.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients regarding tax compliance matters.
  • Support partners and the accounts team with various inquiries.
  • Prepare and submit self-assessment tax returns, ensuring adherence to compliance deadlines.
  • Assist with inquiries from HMRC.
  • While the role is mainly office-based, there is some flexibility for remote work.
  • Opportunity to expand your knowledge and work within a collaborative tax team.

Qualifications:

You may hold AAT or ATT qualifications, be pursuing ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA, or have cultivated a personal tax career within an accountancy practice or specialized tax firm through your experience.

Your background should include experience in an accountancy firm of any size or a specialized tax firm, delivering personal tax compliance to a diverse range of clients as a personal tax expert. Alternatively, you may have a mixed accounts/tax background and be interested in focusing on personal tax in the future.
