Job Description

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join a leading firm of chartered accountants in Sidcup. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic tax team and take on a challenging role with fantastic exposure and future progression prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of personal clients with complex tax affairs, focusing on UK individuals, high net worth individuals, and trusts.
  • Tax Planning: Lead tax planning projects, including non-domicile issues, onshore and offshore trusts, and capital gains and inheritance tax issues.
  • Compliance: Review and complete complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the compliance function, ensuring all deadlines are met, and manage junior members of staff, providing technical guidance and support.
  • HMRC Enquiries: Manage HMRC enquiries and deal with HMRC correspondence, both compliance and advisory in nature.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and guide junior staff members, supporting their technical and personal development.
  • Department Growth: Support the Directors in the growth and development of the tax department.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACCA, ATT, or CTA qualification, with significant experience in a tax role within a practice environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Confidence in a client-facing role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
