We are seeking a talented Formulation Technologist to join our Heated Tobacco team, where you will play a vital role in developing next-generation formulation and product technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing small teams of technicians and utilizing a range of analytical and testing methods for characterization and performance evaluation.

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a broad and deep technical skill set, a collaborative mindset with excellent influencing and team-building skills. You will contribute to multiple innovation projects, coordinating information and activity required from other functions, and manage a small team of Formulation Technicians to turn ideas into commercial reality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop novel product formulations to support innovation projects and conduct small-scale synthesis of known materials.
  • Utilize a range of analytical and testing methods for characterization and performance evaluation.
  • Contribute ideas and opinions to scientific discussions and development of new technologies.
  • Manage a small team of Formulation Technicians and influence projects to achieve commercial success.
  • Plan and complete scientific work to agreed standards.
  • Time management, excellent report writing skills, problem-solving, communication, and team-working skills.
