About the Role

Singular is seeking a highly skilled Cell Culture Specialist to join our team at our Cambridge location. As a key member of our biotech team, you will be responsible for the daily management of cell cultures and supporting broader lab activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cell Maintenance: Perform extensive cell culture activities, including maintaining cell lines in logarithmic growth, tracking passage numbers, and managing freezing/thawing of stocks.
  • Routine Lab Tasks: Conduct common cell-based assays, such as flow cytometry, ELISA, viability, stability, and mycoplasma testing.
  • Lab Support: Assist with ordering and managing lab supplies and reagents, maintain lab cleanliness, and organize lab resources.
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with research associates to facilitate cell culture tasks and contribute to the team's scientific initiatives.
Requirements
  • Cell Culture Experience: Hands-on experience in cell culture, ideally from a cell line development or cell supply lab in industry.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with primary cells, iPSCs, and various assays like flow cytometry and ELISA.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to meticulously follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and use electronic lab notebooks.
