About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutritionist to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a Nutritionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical diet procedures across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medical diet menus for pupils with allergies and intolerances, ensuring compliance with FIR regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day queries from parents, pupils, and clients regarding medical diets, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Contribute to the development of new ingredients, recipes, and menus, ensuring nutritional compliance and quality standards.
  • Deliver medical diet training to colleagues and stakeholders, promoting a culture of excellence in nutrition.
  • Attend meetings with parents and clients to discuss medical diet provision, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of medical diet information, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
Requirements
  • Graduated within the last 2 years with an accredited degree (BSc) or higher in Nutrition.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with people with allergies and intolerances, with a strong understanding of nutritional analysis and menu planning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with research and legislation, with a commitment to promoting the wellbeing of children.
