We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to provide a robust and comprehensive secretariat service to the Economic Growth Board. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient administration of Board activity, consistent with the Board's Assurance Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and coordinate agendas, papers, and reports for Board and sub-group meetings, ensuring timely distribution and effective communication.
  • Coordinate governance arrangements between the Board, sub-group meetings, and West Sussex County Council officers, ensuring common standards are applied across all meetings.
  • Attend Board meetings, prepare accurate and concise minutes, and ensure draft minutes are available promptly for review.
  • Develop clear and concise action plans, ensuring actions are implemented by those responsible.

Requirements:

  • Well-developed organisational, management, and supervisory skills.
  • Significant attention to detail.
  • Graduate standard of numeracy, literacy, and research skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with senior members of the Board and previous experience of working at such a level.

Important Notes:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the UK.
