Key Responsibilities:- Plan, supervise, and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety protocols.
- Manage staff and resources to optimize project performance and efficiency.
- Develop and implement traffic management strategies.
- Monitor daily progress and provide reports aligned with the project schedule.
- Conduct on-site measurements to support pricing and tender preparation.
- Provide technical support, identifying and addressing any issues during the project.
- Ensure adherence to Safety Management Systems, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and site audits to promote a safe working environment.
- Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Third Level Qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Site Operations Manager in the civil engineering sector.
- Experience in the road surfacing industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and techniques, with a focus on groundworks.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Valid UK Driving Licence required.
