Site Engineer

Blackfox Solutions is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to manage on-site aspects of road surfacing projects. This role involves ensuring all works are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Coordination: Plan, supervise, and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Team Management: Manage staff and resources to optimize project performance.
- Traffic Management: Devise and implement traffic management plans.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor daily progress and provide reports aligned with the works schedule.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support, identifying and addressing any issues during the project.
- Safety Management: Ensure adherence to Safety Management Systems, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with clients and statutory bodies to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Qualifications: Third Level Qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Site Engineer in the civil engineering sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the road surfacing industry is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong understanding of construction methods and techniques, with a focus on groundworks.
- Communication: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
