White Lion is a historic pub with a rich history, dating back almost 500 years. Our Grade II listed building boasts an abundance of oak beams, cozy open fires, and old-world charm. We take pride in serving classic pub dishes, sharing-style nibbles, and delicious Sunday roasts, all made with fresh ingredients and a passion for quality.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced Chef de Partie or an exceptional Commis Chef looking to take their career to the next level. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality food, providing excellent service, and working closely with our Head Chef to design and implement new menu ideas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Championing excellent service through quality food and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Demonstrating a passion for producing fresh, high-quality food and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Working as an active hands-on Chef de Partie/Kitchen Supervisor, with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to driving sales and delivering growth.
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials.
  • Maintaining effective controls with regard to both GP and labor, with a focus on planning and organization.
