We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Officer to join our team at the Royal British Legion. As a key member of our Casework Services team, you will play a vital role in providing direct support, advice, and guidance to beneficiaries across a range of issues, including health, social care, employment, benefits, statutory support, and housing.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the needs of beneficiaries and collaborate with regional specialist teams and external service providers to deliver integrated and effective support.
  • Develop creative, tailored solutions to meet beneficiaries' unique needs, drawing on contributions from volunteers, members, and branches.
  • Work closely with the Casework Services Manager and Head of Welfare to identify and address local beneficiary needs, shaping the commissioning of specialist services.
  • Advise beneficiaries on available support and assist them in accessing the services they need, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of statutory benefits.
  • Build strong connections with local organizations to reach beneficiaries in the community.
About the Role:

This is a home-based role with regular travel around the London region for internal meetings and visiting beneficiaries. You will need to live in a location that allows reasonable travel around this area. Occasional travel nationally to attend training and meetings may also be required. A driving license is an essential requirement for this role.
