About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our team in Northampton, Northamptonshire.

As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely with a team of Clinical and Forensic Psychologists, Psychological therapists, Trainee Psychologists, and Assistant Psychologists to provide high-quality psychological services to patients.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting qualified Psychologists with psychological assessments, risk assessments, data management, and assisting with group therapy programmes.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to research, service development, and training of other team members, and will be working to support patients who reside on our community houses to make progress with their rehabilitation.

Your Profile

We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in working as part of a team and the capability to take ownership of independent tasks.

You must have previous experience of working in a clinical setting where you have had the opportunity to build therapeutic relationships and develop an understanding of individual differences.

We pride ourselves on providing a rounded experience for our Assistant Psychologists, with many opportunities to deliver psychological intervention to groups or individuals, and to contribute to specialist clinical administration such as data analysis to inform formulations and contributing to risk assessments and CPA reports.
