Position Overview:
As a Community-Based Speech and Language Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients within their own environments. Your expertise in Dysphagia will be essential in providing support to individuals with swallowing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to community patients, focusing on those with Dysphagia.
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients in their homes and care facilities.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 3 new patients and 4 follow-ups daily, with the potential for a combination of both.
- Ensure timely discharge of patients when appropriate, promoting independence and quality of life.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy, such as a Post Graduate Diploma or MSc, leading to HCPC registration.
- Specialist knowledge in Dysphagia, supported by relevant training and experience at a Master's level equivalent.
- A valid HCPC Licence to Practice and membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
- A minimum of 6 months of paid, patient-facing experience in the UK within the last 3 years.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate personal commitments, with options for various shift patterns including early, late, night shifts, or long days.
