Complex Claims Manager

About the Role:
Hastings Direct Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complex Loss Claims Handler to join our team. As a key member of our claims handling team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex claims and achieving the optimum financial outcome in line with our financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of complex claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve the optimum financial outcome for each claim
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters and claims specialists, to ensure seamless claim handling
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in claims handling, preferably in a complex loss claims environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
