Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a Contract Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a social housing regeneration project in the Birmingham area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the project from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with the main contractor to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, including SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness UKATA, and IATP.
  • Manage and maintain accurate project records and reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on social housing regeneration projects.
  • Strong understanding of main contractor operations and management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CIH Certificate in Managing Housing Maintenance or equivalent.
