About the Role:

  • Design and implement scalable data warehousing solutions using AWS services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and optimize data processing pipelines
  • Develop data products that drive strategic decision making and business outcomes
  • Build efficient systems to process large data sets and scale for future growth

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
  • Strong knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
  • Previous experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
  • Proficiency in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines
  • Strong understanding of SQL and data visualization tools
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with large data warehouses and data lakes
  • Ability to integrate and manage data sets from multiple sources
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with users and technical teams
  • Familiarity with MPP databases like Amazon Redshift and data governance frameworks
