Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the usage of outpatient appointment slots, processing referrals in accordance with trust policies and SOPs, and booking appointments for patients within clinical, trust, and government waiting time targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate outpatient appointments to meet clinical, trust, and government targets
- Process referrals in accordance with trust policies and SOPs
- Book appointments for patients and manage patient flow
- Manage and be responsible for one's own specialty, dealing with requests from the PSC Team Leader and Service Manager
- Resolve capacity issues and escalate potential problems to PSC Team Leaders and Service Managers
- Record and provide specialty statistics to all levels of management
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
