Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled International Trade Specialist to join our team at People First Recruitment. As an International Trade Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert support to our clients in the field of international trade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales and purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Input sales and purchase orders into SAP and iTIMS systems.
  • Coordinate international deliveries, ensuring compliance with trading regulations and procedures.
  • Issue accurate shipping and customs documentation, and maintain customer and shipping files.
  • Process invoices and receive payments, chasing outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Work with Letters of Credit and Performance Bonds.
  • Manage customer inquiries, responding to queries and sending offers.
  • Interact with internal corporate departments to process internal applications.
  • Perform periodical accounting closures and month-end accruals.
  • Closure of iTIMS transactions for SCM sites.
  • Conduct physical inventory checks at stock yards, as required.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience using SAP.
  • International trade transaction skills, including INCOTERMS, Letters of Credit, customs clearance, and trade security applications.
  • Experience in administering international trade, including commercial terms, export documentation, VAT, and foreign exchange.
  • Experience in arranging international logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships with customers and suppliers.
