International Trade Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled International Trade Specialist to join our team at London & Partners. As a key member of our Trade and Growth team, you will play a crucial role in supporting London-based companies to expand their business globally.
Your primary responsibility will be to build a credible pipeline of companies for our International Trade Programme, ensuring they meet the necessary criteria. You will also lead in helping businesses develop the strategic capability and capacity to compete effectively in international markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with London-based companies and stakeholders to identify potential participants for the programme.
- Providing strategic guidance and support to businesses to help them navigate international trade and expand their operations.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate recording of data on the CRM and participating companies' forms in compliance with L&P and GDPR.
- Representing London & Partners at external business events, sharing best practice on international trade and promoting the programme.
- Ensuring all KPIs for the programme are set and measured using Salesforce to track data and results.
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of international trade and the challenges businesses face when internationalising.
- Experience in cross-business working to achieve challenging goals.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills, with the ability to engage and influence colleagues, SMEs, business mentors, strategic partners, corporates, and associates.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and initiate new processes and procedures.
