Salary: Up to £34,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Air Export Coordinator to join our team at WR Logistics. As an Air Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day export operations, including arranging collections and deliveries to airlines, raising relevant shipping documents, and handling GDP & DG shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth running of day-to-day export operations
- Arrange collections and deliveries to airlines
- Raise relevant shipping documents
- Handle GDP & DG shipments following company procedures
- Arrange bookings with airlines
- Customs clearances, including knowledge of IPR's, Licensed entries (SIEL OIEL), and Carnet customs procedures
- Invoicing
- Finalising Consolidations
- Post Flight checks
- Any other reasonable task requested by the management team
Requirements:
- Previous experience within the freight forwarding industry
- Computer literate with basic knowledge of Excel, Word
- Preferred but not essential: AS400, Lotus Notes, and ASM Sequoia
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work accurately with good attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team
- Effective communication with customers, other departments, and other members of the team
