Job Opportunity: Interpreter Translator

We are seeking a skilled Interpreter Translator to join our team at Language Empire. As a freelance interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with various clients across the UK, providing high-quality interpreting services in a range of settings.

About the Role

As an Interpreter Translator, you will be responsible for interpreting and translating languages for clients in a variety of settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations. You will work independently, using your own equipment and resources, and will be required to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Have a strong understanding of language nuances and cultural differences
Requirements
  • Fluent in English and another language
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must be aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered is advantageous
  • Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
