About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily living skills of our residents, promoting their independence, and supporting them to achieve their goals. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that each individual receives tailored support to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote the independence of individuals we support

• Support a full range of daily activities, including cleaning, cooking, and social events

• Arrange activities in the home and in the local community to promote social interaction and engagement

• Develop and implement personalized care plans to support individuals in achieving their goals

• Assist with personal care needs, including close personal care

• Manual handling and supporting individuals with medication

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service monitoring requirements

Requirements

• Passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to adults with learning disabilities

• Flexible, patient, and non-judgmental with a strong commitment to promoting independence and autonomy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives
