About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with Learning Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks, such as cleaning and cooking.
  • Assist residents with medication and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Support residents to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility and patience when working with residents with complex needs.
  • Ability to complete physical aspects of the role, such as manual handling.
  • Knowledge of Learning Disabilities and complex needs is beneficial, but not essential.
