Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team at Libertatem Healthcare Group. As a Brain Injury Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients who have sustained brain injuries or cerebral palsy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Personalised Routines: Develop and implement tailored care plans to meet the unique needs of our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with Care Programme: Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care, including administering medication, managing personal care, and providing emotional support.
  • Provide Emotional Support and Companionship: Offer a listening ear and companionship to our clients, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of care provided, including any changes in our clients' conditions, and report these to relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with a range of healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and therapists, to ensure our clients receive the best possible care.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role, working with individuals with brain injuries or cerebral palsy.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Compassionate and Patient Nature: A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work the specified hours, including evenings and weekends.

Training and Background Checks:
