As a Community Adaptations Officer, you will provide technical support and administrative assistance to our team, ensuring a high standard of customer service and compliance with corporate policies and national and local legislative requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical advice and guidance to customers, both written and verbal, and present a positive and professional image to the customer. • Deal with technical customer enquiries, follow through to resolution, and ensure all stakeholders are updated and adequate audit trails are in place in accordance with Council procedures. • Register applications to the Council for the service area, checking for validity and ensuring appropriate fees and charges are administered. Requirements: • 3 months contract with a local authority • Experience in working within a Social Care setting • Experience in working with vulnerable service users with a disability • Ability to work flexible hours and off-site as required Working Hours: • 35 hours per week • 08:00am – 16:00pm working hours Additional Information: • The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service skills. • The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. • The successful candidate will be required to maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with Council procedures and policies.
