Job Title: Paint Spraying Operative

At Siemens Gamesa, we are seeking a skilled Paint Spraying Operative to join our Surface Coating Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying a layer of primer and paint to wind turbine blades using specialist machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out blade painting using specialist machinery
  • Carry out sanding of blade exactly as specified during training and on the job coaching
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements for yourself and those around you
  • Plan and lay out work, following strict engineering specifications and quality standards
  • Check and monitor work constantly ensuring very high levels of attention to detail
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a vehicle or large structure body shop/painting position is advantageous
  • Sanding and grinding experience is beneficial, but not essential
  • Ability to work a shift pattern that includes working days, nights and weekends
